CLASS
POLICIES:
Class
space is limited so reservations are a must.Classes will begin and end on the specified dates.Most classes require homework to be completed before the next
scheduled class.If you know
that you will be unable to attend all of the classes or complete the
homework, you should consider waiting until the class is offered again.To make a reservation, you must pay the class fee in advance.Please make your reservation as soon as possible, so you are
guaranteed a seat. If you have a reservation and must cancel, please call
the shop so that someone else can take your place.
A
class may be cancelled if not enough people sign up for it.
In this case a full refund will be given for the class tuition.
Each
class is based on a specific project or list of skills.If you complete the project or master the skills early, the class
will be released early.
Private
classes can be arranged as time permits for an hourly fee.
Class
attendees MUST select the materials for their projects prior to the
beginning of the first class, so that classes will start on time.
Yarn
and patterns for classes MUST be purchased at Knit Your Dreams.
Learn to
cast on, knit, purl, do a simple increase and decrease, and bind off
while knitting two dishcloths.

Knitting/Crocheting
for Tornado and Flood Victims
A group of people are
making afghans, hats, mittens, scarves, prayer
shawls, and other items for those effected by the tornadoes in
Parkersburg, IA and the flooding in the Cedar Rapids, IA
area. If you would like to join in by knitting, crocheting, or donating yarn, call for more information.
Socks -
Learn to knit a basic
sock.
Prerequisites: casting on, binding off, knitting, and purling.
Meets Wednesday mornings or Saturday mornings. Cost $25.00.
Sweater
Workshop-
Come knit a sweater with us.Each sweater requires different skill levels.
Prerequisites: casting on, binding off, knitting, purling, simple
increases and decreases, and basic cables (if your sweater has
cables).
Meets
Friday mornings or Saturday mornings.

Afghan
Knit-A-Long-
Members will be knitting
Sampler Afghans and Rambling Rows Afghans. Some will be
knitting Knitter's Magazines' Great American Afghan. The
blocks are made of worsted weight yarn. It is a great way to
learn new stitches and techniques. We have a goal of one block a
month.
Prerequisites: casting on, binding off, knitting, purling, basic
increases, and decreases.
Meets Thursday mornings. (This Knit-A-Long will continue through
the summer.)

stitches: chain, single, half double, double, triple, and shells while
completing two dishcloths and a scarf.

Knit
One, Crochet Too (K1C2): We
are an evening knit together group that meet at the Quincy Public Library from
6:30 to 8:00 PM. Anyone that knits and/or crochets is welcome. (Children must be accompanied by an
adult and must be either knitting or crocheting). Our next scheduled dates are:
