will be teaching both right-handed and left-handed techniques.
CLASS
POLICIES:
Class
space is limited so reservations are a must.Most classes require homework to be completed before the next
scheduled class.If you know
that you will be unable to attend any or all of the classes, or complete the
homework, you should consider waiting until the class is offered again.To make a reservation, you must pay the class fee in advance.Please make your reservation as soon as possible, so you are
guaranteed a seat.
Each
class is based on a specific project or list of skills.If you complete the project or master the skills early, the class
will be released early.
Private classes can be arranged as time permits for $25.00 an hour..
Class
attendees MUST select the materials for their projects prior to the
beginning of the first class, so that classes will start on time.
Yarn for classes MUST be purchased at Knit Your Dreams.
If
you are taking a class, please arrange for child care outside of class, so
that you and others will not be distracted.
If
you are ill, or have an ill child home from school, "PLEASE"
call and schedule a make-up class.
Please silence you cell phone while you
are in the classroom.
Some classes are on a
flexible schedule and can be scheduled by appointment. Other classes or
groups meet at fixed times each week..Please call or come in to find out what times are available.

Knitting 101

Learn to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off,
while knitting a scarf.
Knitting 102 – (Cost $25.00 plus materials.)
Expand you
knitting skills by learning the long tail cast-on, common increases and
decreases.Prerequisites:
The skills listed in Knitting 101.
How
To Make A Knitting Journal (Make A Knitting Plan) – (Cost
$20.00.)
Learn how
to plan your knitting project before you start.Decode those charts and cable codes.Every project is easier when you have a plan.Prerequisites:The
skills listed in Knitting 101 and 102.
This class will be best understood if you have already knitted at
least one sweater.
Bring a notebook, pencil, and eraser.
This class will meet Friday morning, January 6th at 10 AM.
How
to use Ravelry – (Cost $10.00.)
Ever
wondered what it is and how to use it to help your knitting and/or
crocheting.Come
for a tour of the website and get your questions answered.
Knit a Basic Hat –
(Cost $25.00 plus materials.)
Knit a
simple hat in the round.
Prerequisites:The skills listed in Knitting 101 and 102.
Knit a Basic Sock - (Cost $35.00 plus materials.)
Learn to
knit a basic top down sock. Prerequisites: The skills listed in Knitting 101 and 102.
Meets Wednesday mornings from
10 to Noon.
Knit to Fit Mittens - (Cost
$25.00 plus materials.)
Learn to knit an easy basic mitten in the round.Prerequisites: The skills listed in Knitting 101 and 102.
Knitted Lace Workshop-
We are knitting scarves based on the Susanna Lewis' Knitted Lace
Sampler. In this group we are learning how to do 91 different lace
patterns. The Sampler is an advanced level group.If you are interested
in joining us, callthe shop for more information.
Lace Workshop

Members are working on different individual lace projects.
They vary from beginner level to more advanced lace projects.Prerequisites:The

We are
going to be doing knit-a-longs on several socks from “Silk Road
Socks”.Prerequisites:
Must have successfully knitted a basic sock.Meets on Wednesday mornings from 10 to Noon.
Sweater Workshop – (Cost $5.00 a session or $10:00 a month,
plus materials.)
Knit the
sweater of your choice.
Prerequisites:The skills
listed in Knitting 101 and 102 and having graduated from the “My First
Sweater Workshop”.Meets

Tech
Square Afghan
-(Cost $5.00 per session.)
Build on your
knitting skills one block at a time.This afghan has 12 blocks that will
encompass various different knitting techniques and skills.We will be focusing on one block each
session. Some
of the skills included are provisional cast-on, traveling stitches,
increases, decreases, icord, slip stitch knitting, fair isle,
intarsia, entrelac, mitered squares, and duplicate stitch.Prerequisites: The skills listed in
Knitting 101 and 102.
Technique Classes –
Beginning Cables - (Cost $25.00 plus materials.)Learn to make a basic simple knitted cable scarf. Prerequisites: The skills listed in Knitting 101 and 102.
Beginning Entrelac - (Cost $25.00 plus

Crochet classes are on a
