School has started, the days are getting shorter, and the temperature is finally dropping.  Fall is in the air.  Perfect knitting weather is coming.  I feel like starting a new sweater!

I saw lots of beautiful new yarns and patterns at market.  Most of what I ordered has arrived.

Lots of new knitters and crocheters have taken classes this summer.  It’s time to start adding more new skills by taking a class this fall.  There is a list at the end of this newsletter of the classes available.  Classes are fun and a great way to learn new skills and meet new friends.  Come join us!

NEW!:

Marble Chunky is in stock.  It is 100% acrylic.  I’ve already seen beautiful afghans and sweaters made from it.

Marina, a yarn for making ruffle scarves has arrived.   It has sold out several times.  More arrives each week.  It only takes one ball to make a scarf.  A scarf can be knitted in an evening and the pattern is free!

Fountain Hill and Sterling Silk and Silver are sparkling new yarns for the holidays.

Wisdom’s Poem Sock has arrived.

Rolls of netting and rough netting for making crocheted scrubbies.

All colors of Uptown Baby are in stock.

All colors of Uptown Worsted are on display.

New colors of Bear Creek, Perfection Worsted and DK, Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted, Holiday Yarns Flock Sock, Alpaca with a Twist Baby Twist and Fino, Cascade’s Heritage Paint Sock Yarns, Melody Superwash, and Allhemp6 have arrived.

Lots of new books and patterns too numerous to mention here!
